Una giornata dedicata allo stile e alla passione, per avvicinare il mondo dei collezionisti d’auto d’epoca al Golf. E’ questo il senso della prima edizione del BMW Golf & Classic Car che l’Olgiata Golf Club, in collaborazione con BMW Roma, ha organizzato e ospiterà domenica primo luglio. Un vero e proprio raduno di auto d’epoca di ogni marchio, costruite prima del 1979 e selezionate da un Comitato appositamente costituito, che sfileranno con i propri collezionisti-proprietari (golfisti e non) nel piazzale della Stella, adiacente all’ingresso del Circolo. In combinata al concorso di eleganza anche una gara di golf, formula stableford in 3 categorie, aperta a tutti i giocatori che vedranno al loro nome abbinare un modello di auto in competizione.
In base ai punteggi ottenuti, verranno premiate dal Comitato le autovetture secondo la seguente classifica: The best of the show; 1a Auto aperta (carrozzeria cabrio-roadster); 1a Auto chiusa (carrozzeria mono-due-tre volumi chiusa); 1a Italiana (costruttore italiano); 1a Straniera (costruttore non italiano); 1a Sportiva (cuore da corsa); 1a Senza tempo (un classico). Il giudizio del Pubblico vedrà invece premiare il Primo Classificato.
In tale ambito, verrà presentato il libro LA VOLPE ARGENTATA di Prisca Taruffi, una raccolta di testimonianze sul grande pilota di auto e di moto, ingegnere, costruttore, progettista, direttore sportivo e tecnico Piero Taruffi. L’autrice, sportiva Azzurra d’Italia con due titoli iridati (automobilismo e golf) e nata due anni dopo il ritiro ufficiale dalle corse di suo padre Piero, sarà presente per ripercorrere la storia e raccontarne la poliedrica personalità.

Ore 19,00
Termine votazione del pubblico sul gradimento della vettura. La votazione avviene attraverso una scheda consegnata ad ogni visitatore con conseguente inserimento nell’urna entro le ore 19.00.
Ogni vettura sarà identificata da un numero riportato su un autoadesivo che verrà posizionato sul vetro anteriore all’atto dell’accredito.
