On Saturday 22, Bloomberg Arcade will be putting on a show to celebrate featuring performers and cultural partners supported by Bloomberg Philanthropy. Archaeologists from MOLA (The Museum of London Archaeology) will be at London Mithraeum Bloomberg SPACE giving you the chance to handle and explore Roman artefacts and Bloomberg Arcade will come alive with live music by Drum Works and, of course, delicious food provided by our 9 independent restaurants.
On Sunday 23, MOLA will be back for a second day at the London Mithraeum and at Bloomberg Arcade, as part of the celebrations, and in line with the first Cheapside Business Alliance Original London Food & Drink Week some of the Arcade’s best-loved restaurants will be putting on special offers and events over the weekend:
Join Vinoteca for their big Autumn tasting of 17 seasonal wines including a sophisticated and very slurpable Sicilian white, a savoury Kiwi Gruner, a Grenache Blanc with a dollop of cream, a deep & intense Hungarian red, a liquorice-tinged French Malbec, a dark & fleshy Peloponnesian red, and a Californian red with bucket load of varieties. Spaces are available to book here.
Caravan will offer a free Bellini to their brunch guests all weekend, Ekte are offering up a choice of Smørrebrød and a shot of snaps £10 per person, whilst Homeslice Pizza will give you the chance to win your entire meal (or free shots!) by giving their Pizza Wheel of Fortune a spin.
To carry the CBA Food & Drink Festival revelries over to Monday, the first ever Waiter’s Race in the City will take place in the Bloomberg Arcade – home to many of the area’s newest and most exciting dining destinations. Waiters from venues participating in the Food & Drink Week will be under starter’s orders at 11.30am.
The CBA Original London Food & Drink Festival runs from 22nd – 28th September, bringing together some of the most desirable foodie destinations in the Capital. For more information please visit www.incheapside.com/foodanddrinkweek
