THE REAL ART OF DRINKING VOLUME 2: CAPSULE COLLECTION
Following the launch of the Cheers To You programme, the team looks forward to the continuation of bringing art to life through the launch of the capsule collection of Volume 2 of The Real Art of Drinking on 2 May 2022 before the full menu is released at the end of May.
Smoke & Mirrors launched the first volume of the Real Art of Drinking in 2021, the innovative brainchild of Assistant Bar Manager, Mel John Chavez and Bar Supervisor, Eduardo Zamora. Volume 1 of the collection saw the bar team drawing inspirations from its home within the grounds of the National Gallery Singapore, reimagining art concepts within the museum into an interactive cocktail menu. The menu consisted of ten expertly crafted cocktails and was curated to embrace art through a multi-sensory experience of touch, taste, and sight.
The capsule collection takes art representation up a notch with five tipples that represent and explore the fundamentals of art. Volume 2’s capsule collection starts from refreshing low-ABV options before progressing towards more robust, spirit-forward drinks, and offers a selection of art-inspired cocktails with a personal story attached to each.
Volume 2 of The Real Art of Drinking deep-dives into the Principles of Art such as Contrast, Balance, Movement, Pattern and Focus. The capsule collection is a preview of what’s to come, and includes Wok’s That Smell with sambal-infused Espolon Tequila, Cointreau, Mezcal, lime, and Lap Cheong (S$30), Sweet Sayang with Havana Club 7 rum, pink guava, plum sour mix, pineapple liqueur and Campari (S$26), Man from Manila withMichter’s Rye, Plantation Rum Stiggins’ Fancy Pineapple, yam liqueur, jackfruit and Lillet Blanc (S$29), Beyond the Canyon with Grey Goose Vodka, Sauvignon Blanc, citrics, grapefruit, vanilla and Campari (S$25), and Kaleidoscope with Mount Gay Black Barrel Rum, Tempranillo Wine, blackberries, lemon juice and sugar (S$26).
Guests can look forward to the full range of Volume 2 of The Real Art of Drinking, including 16 drinks in total, in the coming weeks ahead. In the meantime, Smoke & Mirrors invites guests to join them in celebrating their Asia’s 50 Best recognition and enjoy the Cheers To You menu through 26 May before the Volume 2 menu launches the following week.
