DIEGO MUÑOZ & JAMES LOWE TO JOIN FORCES FOR ONE NIGHT ONLY AT THE BODRUM EDITION

Michelin-star chef James Lowe will be collaborating with pioneering free rider Peruvian chef, Diego Muñoz for one night only at his restaurant Morena at The Bodrum EDITION.

Taking place on Saturday 1st June the evening’s menu will see Muñoz celebrate the Turkish Riviera’s terroir with a range of delicacies inspired by Peruvian and Middle Eastern dishes, whilst James Lowe will bring to the table a selection of dishes inspired by British cuisine from the internationally renowned East London eatery, Lyles, and his latest restaurant, Flor. Using locally-sourced Turkish ingredients, the menu will also see a number of dishes served which fuse Muñoz and Lowe’s culinary styles.

The collaboration follows Muñoz taking Lowe’s on a journey to explore his Peruvian roots, where Muñoz offered an insider’s culinary guide to the country’s highlands and Lima.

Ahead of the dinner, Lowe commented: “After our trip, we realised that we’d be a good fit to work together. I like Diego’s food, his philosophy, his thoughts on restaurants and what makes them work and I think we have a lot in common. Whenever I meet someone that interests and inspires me I always want to get in to a kitchen to work together.” Whilst Muñoz shared: “I have been an admirer of James’ work for many years and am hugely excited to create something very special together with him at The Bodrum EDITION”.

Morena, The Bodrum EDITION’s come-as-you-are laidback restaurant, features an open fire grill where the bounty from the sea and finest selection of locally sourced meats – from its butcher’s counter – and vegetables are be served family-style.

The dinner will take place on Saturday 1st June from 20:30 at Morena at The Bodrum EDITION. The set menu dinner is priced at 650 Turkish Liras per person with an optional beverage tasting menu at 350 Turkish Liras.
